NNTP Server Addresses

What are the NNTP server address options?

To use a server address that will geolocate you to the nearest farm, the NNTP server address options are as follows:

Most users will want to use one of these two servers:
  • For non-SSL connections - news.easynews.com (IPv4) or news6.easynews.com (IPv6) listens on ports 21, 23, 25, 53, 80, 110, 119, 8000 and 8080
  • For SSL encrypted connections - secure.news.easynews.com (IPv4) or secure6.news.easynews.com (IPv6) listens on ports 21, 23, 25, 53, 80, 110, 443, 563, 8000 and 8080
