If you are searching via the 2.0 interface with the standard output it should display the results with the date/time on the right side as MM-DD-YYYY HH:MM:SS

It sounds to me like you’re not having as much luck as you ought to when using our service. As you can imagine, over the years we’ve added features and tweaks to make the service better. Unfortunately, the more you add, the more complicated it can become. I’d be happy to kind of provide you a shortcut-guide on how to make the most out of what you are paying for.

Now, some of this you already know. I’m just covering everything so that I can make sure I’m not leaving anything too important out.

Firstly, I recommend using the new 2.0 interface. You may have seen others say that the older interface is better or they don’t like the colors etc… but that hardly matters. Results do. You’re going to want to set up the preferences in it so that it behaves just a bit better than normal.

Go to and:

  • turn the spam filter to enabled
  • set maximum reposts to 5
  • crossposts to 6
  • virus exclusion to enabled
  • passworded set exclusion to enabled

After doing all that, use the ADVANCED search on the 2.0 page –

The Advanced search is the ONLY thing I use because I couldn’t imagine trying to narrow down results without it.

Once it’s open, make sure “Apply your Spam filter” is checked, as well as “Remove Duplicates” and “Collapse Sets.”

To actually perform the search, type in what you are looking for into the Keywords field, making sure that the proper type of result is checked to the right (ex. image, video, audio, etc.)

That is how I would perform the majority of your searches. However, there are a few extra tools that you have at your disposal that can make this even more valuable:

  • Exclusions (not having certain phrases appear in the results)
  • AutoUnRAR (showing only results that we have already extracted)
  • Stemming/Non-Stemming Search (the behavior of the search and how results are provided)

All of these additional features and some of the ones I’ve already explained are talked about here in the online help file –

Please let us know if there is anything further we can assist you with.
