Why Articles Might Be Out of Retention in SABnzbd

If SABnzbd reports an "Out of your server's retention" message, it means the article has expired from the Easynews server or has been removed. Article retention determines how long an article stays available on the server.

How to Spot Article Age

Use your Indexer or hover over a SABnzbd queue entry to view the age of the article while it's processing.

How to Fix This Issue

• Search for a version of the post with a more recent timestamp

• Use Easynews Web search, which only Indexes articles within current retention

• Compare results in another newsreader like NZBGet to confirm behavior
