Set Up SSL Certificate Validation in NZBGet

Keep Easynews Connections Secure

SSL certificate validation adds an extra layer of protection when using Easynews with NZBGet. This helps prevent spoofed servers from intercepting connections.

How to Enable Certificate Checks

  1. Launch NZBGet and head to Settings > SECURITY.

  2. Change CertCheck to yes.

  1. Save settings and restart NZBGet.

Diagnosing Certificate Errors

If NZBGet raises an SSL certificate error:

  • Ensure your device has an accurate system clock.

  • Confirm your CA certificates are up to date.

Easynews uses trusted SSL authorities. Errors are almost always due to outdated or missing CA data locally.
