Using NZBGet for Targeted Speed Analysis

Easynews users can use NZBGet’s internal test method to measure performance without introducing external variables.

How to Run a Speed Test

  1. Build a Verified Server:
Set up a server entry for Easynews under Settings > NEWS-SERVERS.

  2. Duplicate for Testing:
Clone the Easynews entry and rename it to "Easynews Test Server".

  3. Set Optional and Data Cap:
In the duplicate, set Optional to yes and X.Limit to a test value (e.g., 75 MB).

  4. Enable and Isolate:
Set Level to 0 and disable other active servers.

  5. Restart and Observe:
Restart NZBGet and monitor transfer speed on the interface.

  6. Use Data to Optimize:
Apply insights to adjust connection count, port, or protocol.
