Check Hostname and Port

Use news.easynews.com and verify that you're connecting via port 563 (SSL) or 119 (unencrypted).

Add a Second Server Profile

Duplicate the server settings in a new profile. If the issue persists, it likely originates from your system.

Look Into Firewall or Antivirus Settings

Try disabling any active firewall to see if the connection goes through. Be sure to re-enable protection afterward.
