Verify Server Information

Connect using news.easynews.com. Use port 563 for SSL. Make sure your login details are correctly entered in your newsreader.

Adjust Security Software

Firewall and antivirus tools might interrupt Usenet access. Disable them briefly for testing. If this solves the issue, set up exceptions.

Switch Ports if Necessary

If 563 doesn’t work, use 443. These ports are often open and can provide encrypted connections.

Restart Network Equipment

Reboot your modem and router to clear temporary issues. A simple reset can sometimes fix connection disruptions.
