Easynews Account Sharing Policy
Easynews accounts are intended for individual use only. Sharing login credentials with others is not permitted by our Terms of Service and may result in temporary restrictions or a permanent account ban.
Why Sharing is Not Allowed
Easynews accounts are configured for private use to maintain fast, reliable service and security for all users. Sharing accounts introduces risks such as unauthorized access, security breaches, and performance issues. It may also interfere with your ability to access Usenet through the Easynews interface.
When multiple individuals use the same account—especially from different locations or IP addresses—it may trigger automated protections that flag the activity as suspicious. This can lead to a temporary hold on the account or limited access to prevent abuse.
What Happens If Suspicious Activity Is Detected
If account sharing is suspected, Easynews may temporarily block access. During this time, the Web interface and NNTP services may be restricted. You may receive an alert stating that account access has been paused due to suspicious activity.
To lift the restriction, follow the instructions in the alert or contact Easynews support. Once verified, access will be restored.

For the best Usenet experience, always use your Easynews account as intended—privately and securely. This helps protect your access and supports consistent service across the Easynews network.
