Easynews Spam Policy

Easynews does not tolerate spam in any form, whether through traditional NNTP Usenet or the Web-based interface. To protect the service and its users, the following rules apply:

Spam on Usenet

Spamming newsgroups disrupts communication and violates Easynews policies. Posting unsolicited commercial messages or repetitive articles is not allowed. Users who engage in such activity may lose access to the service without warning.

If an account is linked to mass postings, excessive repetition, or automated article generation, Easynews reserves the right to disable or permanently terminate access.

Spam on the Web Interface

Web-based spam includes excessive automated searches, scraping, or abnormal usage patterns. Easynews may suspend or terminate sessions or accounts found violating these terms.

Accounts that impact service quality or stability due to misuse of the Web interface may be permanently closed.

Fair Use

Easynews is designed for individual use. Automated systems that access the service, including bots and scrapers, are not permitted.

Usage that deviates from typical patterns—such as excessive querying, scripting, or behaviors that disrupt service for others—may result in restrictions or termination.

Article Retention and Usage

Easynews offers long-term article retention across all supported newsgroups. Abuse of the service, including repetitive or excessive access, may lead to limited functionality or account closure. Always use Easynews within the intended scope of standard Usenet and Web activity.

Reporting Abuse

To report spam or misuse, contact Easynews Support with as much information as possible. Include the suspected username, group names, and timeframes if known.

Easynews investigates all reports and takes appropriate action based on its policies.

Easynews's formal Spam policy is included in our Terms of Service and can be read here.
