Easynews AutoBuy Tool Guide

The AutoBuy Tool helps maintain access to Easynews by automatically purchasing additional data when your current plan runs low. This tool is especially helpful if you frequently use the Easynews Web interface or access Usenet articles at a high rate.

How It Works

When the AutoBuy Tool is active, it checks your available data balance each time you access the Web interface or connect to the Usenet service. If your balance is below the threshold you set, the tool will automatically charge the payment method on file and add the selected data amount to your account.

How to Enable the AutoBuy Tool

  1. Log in to your Easynews account.

  2. Visit the AutoBuy Tool page.

  3. Check the box labeled Enable AutoBuy.

  4. Choose the data package you want the tool to purchase automatically.

  5. Set the data balance threshold that will trigger an AutoBuy.

  6. Save your settings.

Example Use Case

If your current data threshold is set to 500MB and your balance falls below that level, the AutoBuy Tool will purchase the selected data package and apply it to your account automatically.

Managing AutoBuy Settings

You can return to the AutoBuy Tool page at any time to update your settings or disable the feature. Changes take effect immediately.

Additional Notes

  • **IMPORTANT** Turning AutoBuy to zero DOES NOT cancel the account or suspend billing.

  • AutoBuy purchases are non-refundable.

  • Data added through AutoBuy does not roll over.

  • Make sure your payment method is up to date to avoid interruptions.

  • The tool does not affect your monthly base plan renewal.

  • We don't currently have a way to freeze payments until the remaining gigs are used. The service, much like a prepaid cell phone, is dependent upon time in which to use the service.

  • The subscription you choose entitles you to certain things, but without an active subscription those things become unavailable. You can, however, stop the autorenewal process right after renewal to give you a full 30 days to use as much of that allotment as possible.
